Beethoven and Perez Prado

What do you get when you mix two of the mayor musicians of different periods of history: Ludwig Van Beethoven and Dámaso Perez Prado? These are the original tracks of both authors: The following has been brought to us by orchestra director Akira Miyagawa: a combination of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 and Mambo No.5 combination. This is not new, since Perez Prado himself created this combination and was widely criticized by purists. On these times in which classical music is being relegated by our young people who are seeking for new music genders, this attempt to genially blend the past and present, stands as a constant reminder that our present and future are always influenced by the genius of the past.
